Our 3rd graders were hard workers as they practiced horse welfare by unloading bags of feed; shoveling manure; setting up a fly trap and cleaning the horse pen.

We are so happy to let you know that your school has been chosen by the American Heart Association as a recipient of 23 CPR in Schools kit. These kits can be used to train your staff, students, and families in the life saving skill of Hands-Only CPR. The American Heart Association is committed to the mission of longer healthier lives and Corpus Christi has been selected as a pilot market in the Nation of Lifesavers program which is aimed to double the survival rate from cardiac arrest. Among our goals is to educate at least one person per household in CPR. By providing our local schools with the tools, programs, and resources we believe this can lead to sustainable change.
