Pre-K through 2nd Grade took a trip to the Victoria Zoo today!
STAAR Dates
On Saturday, March 29th, Pawnee High School students traveled to San Isidro to compete in the first official district academic meet. The students had a great time and did well in their first academic district competition. Results were as follows:
Overall, the students received 3rd place journalism team and 3rd place calculator team.
Individual events were as follows:
Feature Writing - Jaedin Laborde - 4th, Ingelica Moya - 5th
News Writing - Ingelica Moya - 5th, Jaedin Laborde = 6th
Editorial Writing - Ingelica Moya - 4th
Headline Writing - Kaylen Johnson and Amanda Herod - tie for 7th and 8th place
Calculator Applications - Ingelica Moya - 9th, Kaylen Johnson - 12th, Maritza Martinez - 17th
Mathematics - Ingelica Moya - 8th, Maritza Martinez - 9th
Spelling - Kaylen Johnson - 5th, Amanda Herod - 13th
