I apologize for the typo. Basketball practice for all players boys and girls will begin TODAY and will end at 5:30 PM. On the original post it states that practice will begin tomorrow. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Athletic Parents,
As we make our way into basketball season I want to update you on basketball practice times. All practice times for junior high boys and girls basketball will end at 5:30 PM. Practices will begin tomorrow. There will not be any practice on Fridays for junior high basketball players.
For freshman boys, practices for the remainder of the week will end at 5:30 PM. There will be no practice on Friday. Practice times will be updated weekly and will be subject to change. If you have any questions please contact Coach Soto at mjsoto@pawneeisd.net.

Last night Redwing volleyball defeated Arlington Heights in three sets (19-25, 25-12, 25-19). Great job ladies! Go Redwings!
Football and Volleyball Schedule Updates:
The junior high football game scheduled for 10/6 has been cancelled.
The freshman football game schedule for 10/7 has been cancelled.
The junior high volleyball tournament scheduled for 10/8 in Kenedy has been cancelled.
The junior high volleyball game scheduled for 10/13 vs. Arlington Heights has been changed to an away game. Address will be shared closer to gameday.

We are excited to announce that we have scheduled competitions for our freshman football team. The dates and times are listed below. We are working on scheduling more competitions in the coming weeks. Please come out and show your support.
September 29th - scrimmage versus Incarnate Word Academy 5 PM in Pawnee
October 7th - game @ Arlington Heights 7 PM (Field address will be shared the week of the game)
Football Announcement: The junior high football games scheduled for September 22nd and September 29th against Arlington Heights have been cancelled. We are working at revamping the football schedule for the upcoming weeks.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the football game vs. San Marcos Baptist scheduled for 9/15 has been cancelled.
In their home opener, Redwing volleyball played very tough. The blue team lost a hard fought series to Pettus 7th grade. While the red team battled back from a first set loss to win the next two sets. (16-25, 25-13, 15-13)
